He or she will have an enhanced facility with the Windows operating system and associated hardware. The ideal candidate is a hard-working individual who has a creative but analytical mindset. Computer Programmer responsibilities

Code and test programming for in-house database

Debug code for existing programs

Balance workday between multiple projects and respond immediately to tech support requests from senior staff

Report issues and concerns immediately to IT manager

Troubleshoot system bugs and issues

Ensure code is error-free, readable, efficient, and logically organized for ease of access

Update and expand existing programs

Computer Programmer skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or related field

2+ years’ coding experience in C++ or other common programming language

Knowledge of DB/C or PL/B programming language a plus but not necessary

Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft software

Working knowledge of Linux

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
