Job Description
- Oversees the Self-Pay Team.
- Responsible for queue maintenance.
- Responsible for employee scheduling to ensure phone coverage throughout the entire day and keep call abandonment below 3%.
- Is knowledgeable of PMS and client guidelines of medical collections, including but not limited to insurance processes, attorney represented accounts, restricted states.
- Has proven ability of problem resolution while dealing with consumers and employee issues.
- Assists with seconds talk offs and/or de-escalation of calls.
- Responsible for auditing reports and sending these reports without delay to the correct party whether it be internally or out to a client.
- Identifies out-source team deficiencies, noncompliance and/or training issues, and informs managers of such findings.
- Performs side by side coaching and performs call monitors for all out-source members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A combination of two years medical and/or clerical experience, education and/or training.
- Minimum one-year experience in a collection/call center environment.
- Ability to work with uncooperative or difficult people in a professional manner that obtains positive results.
- Experience/training in standard computer applications (e.g. word processing, databases, and the internet).
